If your curve-ball is something that isn't so exciting, maybe you feel traumatized. This can happen for any situation that causes disruption to your daily routine, your thinking and ultimately your ability to function at your full potential. Whatever your anxiety or trauma is about, we can help! We are a team of therapists that work extensively with anxiety provoking issues. These could be about relationships, life events, or any negative experience that is holding you back. Meredith Azis formed her compassion for working with traumatized individuals at an early age and made it her life’s work to empower clients to recognize their full potential. With a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, Meredith leverages both theoretical and practical application to serve client’s needs. She has worked with diverse populations in Orlando, San Francisco, and San Diego. Meredith has an authentic approach to helping clients deal with life’s most difficult stressors while finding the silver lining. Her passions are:


  • Normalizing conversation about severe mental illness

  • Supporting clients around setting attainable goals

  • Establishing a program of self-care

  • Highlighting client's strengths

  • Focusing on issues surrounding shame

  • Identifying how childhood shapes current world view and ways to modify it to better serve purpose

  • Managing depression and anxiety

  • Empowering and supporting traumatized individuals

  • Coaching clients on issues surrounding bullying and ways to address it

  • EMDR (level 1 trained)


Meredith’s mission is to create a safe environment for clients to express deep thoughts and feelings. With supportive therapy, she strongly believes it’s possible for clients to heal, grow and achieve a fulfilling and satisfying life.

M.A in Psychology with concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, Golden Gate University
