Sometimes life throws us a curve-ball that we just didn't expect. Whatever the curve-ball is, either large or small, it is common to cause anxiety, even if it is something exciting. If your curve-ball is something that isn't so exciting, maybe you feel traumatized. This can happen for any situation that causes disruption to your daily routine, your thinking and ultimately your ability to function at your full potential. Whatever your anxiety or trauma is about, we can help! We are a team of therapists that work extensively with anxiety provoking issues. These could be about relationships, life events, or any negative experience that is holding you back. If you are struggling with moving past a traumatic incident, or finding it difficult to overcome anxiety of any sort, please contact us. We will have one of our experienced therapists contact you as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!

Life is messy, relationships are challenging, family members can push us to our limits and, amidst the chaos, we sometimes lose our balance and stumble. Whether you are looking to work through ongoing difficulties, learning to adapt to recent stressors, or facing a relationship that is on the rocks, I have the skills and resources to guide you from pain and into a place of healing and growth. With a comforting and nurturing presence I am able to help individuals feel safe exploring and working though the challenges that arise in their lives.

As a San Diego native, following my undergraduate education I moved back to San Diego to complete my Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. I received the majority of my clinical training through UCSD Department of Family Medicine where I worked alongside medical professionals in an integrated behavioral health care setting. As a result of my training, I understand the relationship between the mind and body and strive to incorporate holistic treatment methods into my clinical practice.

I acknowledge that each person comes to therapy at different stages in life and with different needs. I draw upon theoretical orientations including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and mindfulness to help you achieve your goals. Over the course of therapy, it is my goal to help you find purpose, meaning, and fulfillment in life despite the obstacles that you may be facing.

I see my role as a therapist a privilege and I cherish the transformations that I am able to witness. I recognize that starting therapy can be a scary process and I commend you for taking the brave step to make change. I look forward to hearing from you!
